Friday night Kaylee came over to spend the weekend with us. Since it took them over two hours to get to our house from St Charles due to the wonderful rush hour traffic, Kaylee only got to visit with Aiden for about an hour before bedtime. After Aiden went to bed, Ryan Kaylee and I played Just Dance 2, ate homemade popcorn and then Ryan and Kayle played Monopoly on the Wii.
Saturday, just as it was forecasted, we had our first measurable snowfall. Of course I couldn't wait to get Aiden out on the sledding hill... So after breakfast we all got our snow gear on and went! He was not very fond of the whole getting ready part, especially since Daddy kept calling him Randy.
We took him to a small hill behind Walmart and Ryan was very leary since it was not that big. I explained that we probably wouldn't be out there THAT long, so it really didn't matter... Aiden loved being carried up the hill and was overjoyed going down the hill... Aiden also ate snow for the first time and loved it as well... I think it probably felt good on his 7th tooth which is trying to pop through on the top left.
When we went home, Ryan and I started taking out the Christmas decorations and Kaylee played with Aiden and then Monopoly again. While Aiden was napping I started setting up the inside decortations and Ryan started on the outside ones. Aiden woke up as I was getting the blow up penguin out of the box... He was VERY leary of it and couldn't understand why the penguin was staring at him... silly penguin
We finished right before dinner time which we headed to TGIFridays for. Kaylee, Aiden and I spent some quality time playing before bedtime and Ryan headed out with the guys for the night (Finally some time to myself to get some things done without Ryan breathing down my back ;) Aiden also took a few steps on his own when Kaylee let go of his hands... I can't believe how fast my little boy is growing up. Everytime I look back at pictures it makes me so sad and proud at the same time, he always has a new adventure up his sleeve every single day, and I cannot get enough of all the love he gives us (especially his kisses-even if they are open mouth)
Way to go Aiden! Sledding like a big boy! Your buddy Jack is not fond on snow gear either! Love all your pics! I can't believe how grown up you are getting!!!!
