One of the best parts of today was that it was an institute day, which meant I would definitely get out of work on time :) I picked the boys up from Ms. Erin's (who made a nice little treat bag for each of the boys). Good thing her daughter has such a positive influence on Aiden, because he could not WAIT to get home and carry his pumpkin around ;) I told him he could not have any candy until he put on his costume and as soon as I siad that he was all for that!!! He was the dinosaur and Carter was a pumpkin (both hand me down costumes, so definitely budget friendly and adorably warm) Aiden loved handing out the candy to our trick or treaters and also loved watching them from across the street while I fed Carter. Once we got out, he did great. He went to each of the doors and pushed the doorbell (his favorite part) and held out his pumpkin. Once the treat got in it, he said DANKS and moved on. To move the process a little faster I let him ride his powerwheels motorcycle I mean how cute is a Dino on the go :) Then it was home to enjoy some lasagna, salad and garlic bread (a halloween tradition that my mom and her friend started when we were kids)
I'm such a dope for not coming over to keep you company the boys looked adorable and so happy what a great mommy to keep the tradition going with lasagna yum love you all to pieces! !!
ReplyDeleteAnd so the Halloween memories begin...now you have to learn to make a poppy seed cake too!

Both boys looked great and soooo happy! I have to say though, I LOVE him on the power wheels... Honestly hilarious, LOL but for being just too cute!
ReplyDeleteNow don't go stealing all his candy... Mommy and Daddy! Especially mommy :)
Those pictures made me want to just grab both of them and hug and squeeze them! Glad you all had such a great Halloween.
