I can't believe there are only two more weekends of summer left... :( (tears, tears, and more tears) This of course was the least busiest weekend out of the next few, but we still managed to find things to do.
Friday evening Aiden and I went to Downers in hopes of seeing Sarah and Steve before their move to Minnesota, but we missed them :(. Auntie Abby was in from Ohio though so we got to spend some time with her :) She hasn't seen Aiden in a few weeks and was surprised how much he had grown in that short time, especially his hair
On Saturday Aiden and I went for a nice morning walk/jog (we all know there wasn't much jogging though, but I tried) and then after his nap we spent the afternoon in the pool waiting for Ryan to get home from work. The three of us went to Glam-ma and G-Mac's house for dinner and to spend some quality time with the family. Aiden loves playing with all the new toys that my mom picked up for him and even tries to push himself along the floor in the walker (he only has figured out backwards) Ryan and my mom played Bocce ball while my dad cooked dinner, but their game was delayed by the Mosquito's that were eating them alive. After dinner we played UNO til the wee hours of the morning (which everyone learned the real rules to play) and had many laughs (1 beer + three hours later = Amy must still be drunk ;) not I'm just high on life)...
Sunday was spent grocery shopping, swimming, and napping (who doesn't love a two hour nap on a Sunday afternoon?). Ryan, Granny (Ryan's mom), Aiden and I went to Friday's for dinner, and then after dinner we stopped over to visit with Cary who is recovering from knee surgery. :) He seems to be doing ok, but hopefully was feeling a little better after hearing Aiden's little giggle (it always makes me laugh at least)
All in all it was peaceful weekend and I'm sad it is ending
